As a child, I was influenced by my father’s activities and early accomplishments as a painter, ceramicist and Guggenheim Fellow and my mother who designed - and with the help of my older siblings - built my childhood home . My love of design and spatial awareness at age 4 was observed by my father who then built me a modern, open floor-plan dollhouse so I could rearrange walls to my content. My photography has always been influenced by human constructs and contrasts — in light, materials or meaning. As long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to architectural imagery. Today, my artistic and professional practice involves three of my greatest loves: photography, design, and making things with my hands.
